Royal Decorations

On Friday 11 October 2013 Production Director Knud Andersen, DAT-Schaub, presented with Royal decorations two of his managers for 40 and 50 years of meritorious services respectively.

With 40 years of employment the Royal decoration was presented to gut room manager Henning Andersen Fisker who at the latest has been working in DAT-Schaub’s gut room at Danish Crown’s slaughterhouse in Sæby. Henning started as casing cleaner at Hadsund Andels Svineslagteri on 18 July 1966. Since then he has worked in Bjerringbro and Hjørring and since October 1980 as gut room manager in Sæby. 
 
With 50 years of employment the Royal decoration was presented to inspector Svend Aage Christensen who has worked as inspector with DAT-Schaub in Esbjerg since August 1998. Svend started as casing cleaner at Thisted Andels Svineslagteri on 4 May 1963 and since then he worked with different responsibilities in Thisted. From 1979 until today he has been responsible for the quality at DAT- Schaub’s casing departments at the Danish slaughterhouses.
