The Brazilian company JBS COLAGENO and DAT-Schaub A/S have entered into a partnership in Europe where DAT-Schaub will be distributor of JBS COLAGENO's beef collagen proteins.
JBS COLAGENO, which is a part of the JBS Group, is the world's largest beef protein manufacturer.
The company is producing the well-known beef collagen proteins Novapro® Collagen Fiber and Novapro® Collagen Powder which among others are used as functional proteins in the meat processing industry.
The proteins are available with certificates such as GMO Free, TACC Gluten Free, Halal, and BRC.
The use of these proteins ensures improved texture, juiciness, and fat retention in many chilled processed meat products and can be added as a clean label ingredient without any color and/or taste deviation. Furthermore, the proteins are easy to use and easy to store.
Marketing of the proteins will strategically be coordinated from the DAT-Schaub Group's headquarter in Copenhagen and sales will take place from there as well as sales and distribution will take place from some of the Group's subsidiaries around in Europe.
